Which browser is more Secured?

June 28, 2010 | In: Did you know, IE9, Update

Every netizen will have the first question is his mind is how secured the browser is? Security and Privary are the aspects of browsers that concerns many of the users.

However, since majority of the users use Internet Explorer, MS keeps on looking at the holes and unfortunately the previous versions have a patchy history. The current version (Internet Explorer 8) is one of the most secure browsers available. It has the default protected mode that prevents websites from executing code.

Google Chrome has an excellent feature that has the similar protecting mechanism and has a proven record. But, Internet Explorer was one of the first to implement defenses against a particularly devious attack method, the cross-site scripting (XSS) exploit.

This has been highlighted in a recent report from NSS Labs (http://nsslabs.com/browser-security). Hope IE9 will have more security features and will be competeting with the other browsers.
