Uninstall IE8 in Windows 7
Windows 7 allows you to disable/uninstall Internet Explorer. Follow the steps outlined below:
- Goto Control Panel and find out the “All Control Panel Options”
- Click “Programs and Features”
- Click “Turn Windows Features On or Off” in the left pane.
- Find out Internet Explorer 8 listed in the program list.
- uncheck the option.

Click OK and rebook the system.
Once the system is restarted, you will not see any instances of IE8.
