MS09-072: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer released

Microsoft has released the December security update which resolves four privately reported vulnerabilities and one publicly disclosed vulnerability in Internet Explorer.

While searching for some good photo related IE Add-ons, I found ZoomInto add-on, which is one of the free All-in-One Image Zooming Add-on for Internet Explorer.

It extends zooming and photo editing capabilities to all .jpg web images. It also has option to custom crop images to keep only what you want. Print, Save and Email web images for friends and family.

I personally like this Add-ons. You may also try the same and leave your feedback for the other IETips.net users.

QuickTip - Speedup Internet Explorer 8 In Windows 7

You can speedup Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7 with the below quicktip:

Close IE8.
Go to elevated command prompt, by following the steps below:

  • Click Start, All Programs
  • Go to Accessories
  • Right-click Command Prompt
  • Select “Run as administrator” option.
  • Select “Yes” when the UAC prompt appears.
  • Enter the following:

regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

  • Press Enter.
  • Click OK when the confirmation prompt appears.

Also, you may try installing the chrome plugin which improves the performance 10 times to the current speed. Read out..
