
According to Computerworld, it has been identified that Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) was 9.6 times faster than IE8 on its own. This was identified in some of the tests done. An article from TechWorld site says that it was tested completely on IE6, IE7, and IE8 versions.
I’ve installed it in my Laptop and find a considerable increase in the performance and speed.
Google Chrome Frame lets IE utilise the Chrome browser’s WebKit rendering engine, as well as its high-performance V8 JavaScript engine. This will improve the performance of IE 8.
The Chrome Frame plug-in was tested on IE6, IE7 and IE8 and for Windows XP/Vista OS.
