Webpage backgrounds, colors, and images are not printed correctly in IE8

Issue – Webpage backgrounds, colors, and images are not printed correctly after upgrading to Internet Explorer 8.

Cause - As in earlier versions, Internet Explorer 8 by default does not print webpage background colors and images.

This feature has been added to save the ink/toner to print pages and also to  reduce the time consumed to print the web pages.

Solution - To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click Tools, Internet Options.

3. Goto Advanced tab.
4. Scroll down to the “Printing” section and check “Print background colors and images”.

5. Click OK.

Now your print out will have webpage backgrounds, colors, and images.
