Issue - Unable to download any files from Internet Explorer and experiencing the following error:
Cause – This issue happens due to some third party IE tweaks and is not because of Virus.
Resolution – To resolve the issue, go to Registry editor, and change the DWORD value to 0 for the registry key “NoSelectDownloadDir” under the below registry path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftInternet ExplorerRestrictions

Simply download, unzip the .zip files, and run the .reg file. Ensure to take backup of the registry before you run the .reg file.
