Microsoft is gearing up to release the next version of Internet Explorer (IE9) and had annouced the release of its TestDrive site/TestDrive demos. Instead of using the term Beta, Microsoft this time named its as a TestDrive (because its not a full version of Beta and only gives a overivew to the developers) Click the Install the Preview icon and experience the great features in IE9:
Please note, Internet Explorer Platform Preview requires Windows Vista or Windows 7. However, you may experience the demos on IE8 version too. The Platform demos (Speed Demos, HTML5 Demos, and Graphic Demos) are available at – Link
The “MrPotatoGun” and “FishIE tank“ are some of the nice tools available to test the performance of your system interms of the performance and the FPS aspect ratio.
The “Cross-browser Test Results” also gives a fantastic results. I infer these results are pretty good enough to Microsoft to keep IE9 as the main competetor to the other browsers.
